Our November meeting coincided with Remembrance Day, so we asked attendees to remember a friend or loved one who served in the armed forces.
We also welcomed plenty of new faces (and familiar) faces, who all had the chance to chat and network over breakfast at The Feathers Inn, a charming village pub just outside Ware, Hertfordshire.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday December 9. If you wish to attend, please email enquiries@waretodobusiness.co.uk

Ware To Do Business, the friendliest Hertfordshire business networking group, met on Wednesday June 10 to hear all about the great work being done by Citizens’ Advice.
Laura Hyde, the chief executive of the East Herts branch, spoke about how the charity has had to adapt during the lockdown, so it can continue to provide such a vital service to people in the district. Ware To Do Business has chosen Citizens’ Advice as its charity partner for 2020.
In all, 17 people joined the Zoom meeting from as far afield as Glasgow and Portsmouth. It was encouraging to hear that many of the businesses which were forced to closed during the lockdown, are now opening up for business.
Join us for our next virtual meeting on Wednesday July 8 (9am-10am). It’s FREE to join, if you are interested please email enquiries@waretodobusiness.co.uk
We will be chatting online using Zoom. There’s no need to download any software, I’ll send out a link which you will need to open at the start of the meeting.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Wednesday May 27 for the Ware To Do Business Charity Quiz Night, held in memory of Dean Mason.
Five teams took part with people joining us from across the country. The event was held to celebrate the memory of one of our founders, Dean Mason, who sadly passed away recently after contracting the coronavirus.
Ware To Do Business is a not-for-profit, Hertfordshire based networking group and this year we are raising funds for Citizens’ Advice — a cause close to Dean’s heart.
We raised £135 on the night – well done everyone!

Ware To Do Business, the friendliest Hertfordshire business networking group, held its first virtual meeting on Wednesday April 8.
Despite a few last-minute apologies for absence, 11 attendees joined in from as far afield as Hampshire and Glasgow. The format on Zoom worked well and we discussed the current business climate and the challenges facing us all.
Regrettably, we heard the sad news that W2DB founder and friend Dean Mason had passed away the previous week after contracting the coronavirus. He was a lovely man and was taken far too soon.
Unless circumstances change, we will hold our next virtual meeting on Wednesday May 13, 9am-10am. In the meantime, stay safe and we hope to see you soon!
